UkrLandFarming breaks ground for its new feed mill

   

   

   

   


At the site in Rohatyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, UkrLandFarming laid the first stone for their new feed mill which was attended by heads of regions and districts, as well as from the company.

   

   

Construction on the Rohatyn feed mill will start later this year, and is expected to be completed by the end of 2014. The feed mill will produce 20 tonnes of feed/hour and that it will employ approximately 100 local residents.

   

   

UkrLandFarming is the largest domestic agro-industrial holding company in the Ukraine and stands out from competitors in the company with its vertically integrated structure.

   

   

The group includes more than 230 leading Ukrainian companies doing business in 23 regions of the Ukraine, who together process more than 530 hectares of agricultural land.

   

   

UkrLandFarming''s infrastructure includes five grain elevators, six seed processing plants, six feed mills, six sugar mills, 19 slaughterhouses, two tanneries, a factory for the production of egg products, and 19 poultry plants.

   

   

Data from the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine reveals that in 2012 the share of the Group accounted for approximately 4.2% of the total production of cereals, 10.3% of the total production of sugar from sugar beet, 15.7% of the total industrial production of beef and 24% of the total production of skin.
